Niet zo lang geleden hoorde ik Brooke Fraser van Hillsongs United.
Nu heb ik het niet zo op Hillsongs in het algemeen. Teksten zijn vaak niet erg diepgaand of zo iets (er zijn wel uitzonderingen) en qua muziek is het niet geweldig, maar vooral meeslepend door de sfeer en niet zozeer door de tekst.
Brooke Fraser is toch wat anders, ze kan teksten schrijven, ze heeft een prettige stem en de muziek is spannender. Het scheelt dat voor ze bij Hillsongs kwam al een aardige carriere in Nieuw-Zeeland had gemaakt. Ik heb haar album "Albertine" nog niet, maar na wat ik er op Youtube van gezien heb, zal het niet lang duren voor ik deze cd toch heb aangeschaft.
